I arrived to late for the boat over to the Camotes island so I stayed in Danao city at Sea Gate CATADMAN LODGE a good place to stay over night

Departing from the Danao port by ferry boat a one hour trip we were luckey to see Dolphin following the ship this,I think this got our hopes up a bit.
The room was huge with great views. It was a great way to get away from everything for awhile. The courtyard is very well done with several caged animals in a nice garden.
The sea was just a couple of minutes walk away from my room, and the coral reef started right at the shore. The service is excellent.
Mangodlong Resort
Across the resort and separated by a blue sea is a coral islet with tropical huts spread out, connected by a sand bar from the beach.
The resort offers an ideal combination of intimacy and laid-back island atmosphere. It is a few minutes from the town and ports of San Francisco and Poro.
I travel in the Philippines frequently for business, and usually try to get in some diving on the weekends. Of the places I’ve been diving — Batangas, Subic, Mactan, Moalboal and now Camotes –
. Excellent visibility — ~ 100 feet — lots of marine life including an amazing school of sardines, large lion fish, 6′ thresher shark. Very nice.
Even if you don’t dive, it’s a great place to stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Meals are generally taken somewhat communally,
so it’s a great way to get to know other people. Everything is nice, well maintained. The beach at the property is small but nice.
Good snorkeling, and the house reef is also decent diving.
